πŸ› οΈ Role Overview

We are seeking a Security Engineer with a strong interest in cloud engineering and cybersecurity to join our Security Platform team. This team is responsible for enhancing the security and compliance of our infrastructure, ensuring that all digital assets remain protected and compliant with security regulations.


🎯 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Vulnerability Management and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) programs across platform engineering teams.
  • Lead the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program, supporting company-wide adoption and integration with other teams.
  • Maintain and establish system and endpoint hardening guidelines, and support secure image development.
  • Automate and improve processes to provide accurate compliance evidence to auditors.
  • Ensure robust Infrastructure Security by maintaining and improving security clusters, threat modeling, and ensuring network security configurations are met.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive security efforts and design simple solutions for complex security challenges.

🧰 Required Skills & Experience:

  • Core skills:
    • Ability to collaborate with teams and external stakeholders, clearly communicating technical topics.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering simple solutions to complex challenges.
    • Basic understanding of cloud concepts and cloud resources.
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity domains, such as:
      • Vulnerability management
      • Securing data at rest/in-transit
      • Risk management and compliance
    • Experience in programming (Java, Golang, Python, etc.) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with Unix systems and networking protocols (e.g., IP, TCP, HTTP).
  • Nice to have:
    • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or similar).
    • Experience in cybersecurity projects, sysadmin, and vulnerability scanning.
    • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and version control systems (GitHub).
