🧠 Role Overview
We are looking for a System Engineer with specialized experience in Observability Engineering to help shape and maintain the performance, reliability, and visibility of our distributed systems and cloud infrastructure. This role will play a key part in implementing proactive monitoring and automated remediation strategies to support enterprise-scale digital environments.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize observability frameworks to monitor and analyze distributed systems.
- Configure and deploy logging, tracing, alerting, and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger).
- Implement OTEL standards and integrate telemetry into application architectures.
- Collaborate with development teams to enable “self-healing” systems and trigger automated remediation via observability alerts.
- Build insightful dashboards and performance reports to identify trends and detect anomalies.
- Continuously improve tooling and processes to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Conduct root cause analysis for incidents using telemetry data and contribute to incident resolution playbooks.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and introduce enhancements to Brillio’s observability strategy.
🎯 Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience as an Observability or Systems Engineer.
- Expertise in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Jaeger.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Java, Go, or equivalent languages.
- Solid understanding of AWS (preferred), cloud-native architecture, and Kubernetes.
- Proven troubleshooting ability in complex distributed environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
🔍 Preferred Technical Stack
- Primary Tools: Struts, Ansible, Grafana, Azure ARM, ELK, Azure Repo, Python, Terraform, Azure PowerShell, Kubernetes, Azure AD.
- Rate: $55–$60/hour (Contract Role)
