🧠 What You’ll Do

• 🛠️ Collaborate with Product Management to balance user-centric design, technical integrity, and scalability. Use tools like JIRA/Confluence to streamline communication.
• 🧭 Translate complex business objectives into detailed technical roadmaps by aligning with stakeholders and SMEs.
• 🧪 Select appropriate technologies (e.g., Postgres/Planetscale vs. DynamoDB/Redis) based on performance, cost, and architecture needs.
• 🌊 Implement real-time data processing using Apache Pulsar.
• 📣 Lead project execution phases with strong written and verbal communication, ensuring timely and predictable deliveries.
• 📈 Drive Agile/Scrum practices for optimized team velocity and output.
• ✅ Champion code quality through comprehensive unit/integration/load testing and robust CI/CD pipelines.
• 🧑‍🏫 Mentor junior engineers and foster a strong engineering culture via code reviews and guidance.
• 🎤 Organize tech talks and workshops covering advanced topics like Redis caching and Elasticsearch.
• 🧪 Experiment with new tech—think GraphQL, serverless (AWS Lambda)—and advocate for innovation and adoption of best practices.

📌 Minimum Requirements

• 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent U.S. degree)
• 🧑‍💻 7+ years in backend development roles (Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, etc.)

Technical Skills Must Include:

• ✅ 7+ years experience with backend stacks (e.g., Java/Spring Boot, Gradle, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Airflow, Postgres, Redis, AWS)
• ✅ 5+ years coding in Java, Python, or Go
• ✅ 5+ years experience building modern web architectures (REST, GraphQL)
• ✅ 5+ years working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, and Design teams

💸 Compensation & Benefits (U.S. Based Applicants)

• 💰 Salary Range: $184,000 – $237,000 annually
• 💵 Includes bonus/commission + equity + full benefits package
