🧭 Role Summary

We’re hiring a Sr. Staff System DVT Automation Engineer to lead the Design Verification Testing (DVT) of our innovative energy systems. You’ll be instrumental in validating end-to-end system behavior across hardware and software layers, automating test processes, and ensuring product performance across diverse real-world conditions.


πŸ’Ό Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute comprehensive DVT plans for Enphase’s Ensemble energy systems.
  • Define and automate tests for systems integrating microinverters, AC batteries, Smart Switches, IoT Gateways, Cloud, and mobile platforms.
  • Develop Python-based test automation frameworks controlling lab instruments (Grid Simulators, Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, SAS, etc.).
  • Analyze system-level failures during DVT and perform root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to refine requirements and test strategies.
  • Manage test data and analysis through custom scripts and database tools.
  • Prepare detailed documentation for test plans, execution logs, and final reports.

🧠 What You Bring

  • Degree: BE/BTech or ME/MTech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Experience: 12+ years in Power Electronics, System DVT, and automation.
  • Strong grasp of circuit theory, electrical systems, and power electronics.
  • Proficiency in Python-based test automation with hardware instrument drivers.
  • Hands-on experience with communication protocols: TCP/IP, RS-485, USB, CAN.
  • Skilled in testing and validating grid-tied inverters, energy storage systems, and advanced grid profiles.
  • Knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Lithium-ion technologies.
  • Experience troubleshooting inverter and UPS designs in lab environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective communicator with a passion for sustainable energy innovation.
