💼 Role Responsibilities

  • Software Components Design: Design and implement software components based on containers.
  • Automation: Automate deployment processes for production, QA, and development environments.
  • DevOps Best Practices: Collaborate with production teams to define and implement best practices for DevOps.
  • CI/CD Systems: Implement requests from development and QA teams into a CI/CD system.
  • Security and Performance Testing: Conduct system tests to ensure security, performance, and availability.
  • Data Models and Network Processes: Develop data models and network processes to optimize architecture and evaluate system performance.
  • System Maintenance: Test, troubleshoot, document, upgrade, and create maintenance procedures for OS, communication environments, and application software.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with team members to improve engineering tools, systems, and data security.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain troubleshooting and design documentation.
  • Production Support: Resolve production issues and work with the development team to improve code deployment.

🎯 Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 4+ years as a DevOps Specialist or System Administrator or in similar roles.
  • Linux Expertise: Strong experience with Linux server environments (RHEL, Ubuntu, Debian, SuSE).
  • Containerization: Practical knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker).
  • Hypervisor Experience: Experience with hypervisors such as VMWare, KVM, and Proxmox.
  • Configuration Management: Proficiency in configuration management tools (Ansible).
  • CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Security & Backup: Knowledge of system/network security, backup, and data recovery.
  • Scripting Skills: Ability to create scripts in Bash, Perl, or Python.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Monitoring Tools: Practical knowledge of monitoring tools (Zabbix, Prometheus, SigNoz).
  • Authentication Systems: Experience with single sign-on (SSO) software (e.g., Keycloak, OpenLDAP) is a plus.
  • Build Automation Tools: Familiarity with build automation tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle, NodeJS) is an advantage.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Language Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
