🎯 Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Wireless Network Engineer to support and scale our wireless network infrastructure. This individual will work within the Product IT department and provide hands-on expertise in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting network systems for internal teams and customers. 🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Design and support enterprise-grade wireless and wired networks (WLAN/WWAN), cabling systems, and firewalls
- Collaborate with IT teams (e.g., End User Services, Unified Communications) to design integrated system solutions
- Lead technical projects from discovery through deployment, including interaction with internal and external stakeholders
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance performance and operational efficiency
- Resolve critical network outages, perform root cause analysis, and automate non-exceptional service conditions
- Draft technical documentation, implementation guides, and support manuals
✅ Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in wireless networking (LAN/WAN)
- Strong expertise in HP Aruba wireless tech, including 802.1x, ClearPass, and AirWave
- Proficiency in SD-WAN (especially Silver Peak), network performance monitoring, and Azure networking
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments, virtualization, and deployment automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Kickstart, RPM)
- Solid understanding of networking protocols and topologies: EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, IPS/IDS, DLP, and risk-based security frameworks
- Experience designing high-availability, multi-site data center architectures
- Familiarity with fixed wireless systems (microwave, millimeter wave, unlicensed 5.8GHz), fiber/copper inside plant design, HVAC, UPS, and fire suppression systems
- Capable of providing Tier 3 on-call support and acting as a cross-functional team lead or independent contributor
- Certifications preferred: CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CPI

- Remote-first with occasional travel (up to 10%)
- Valid driver’s license and personal credit card required for reimbursable travel expenses
- Must be able to fly or drive to customer sites as needed
