💡 About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Virtual Appraisals (VA) Team! You’ll play a crucial role in enhancing our internal claims platform, streamlining operations, and driving automation to improve efficiency.

🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

✅ Enhance our latest estimating tool to automate workflows and improve productivity
✅ Contribute to technical design processes and suggest improvements
✅ Help shape Snapsheet’s growth as an industry leader in technology
✅ Work in an agile environment with regular stand-ups and retrospectives
✅ Identify challenges, flag issues, and propose alternative solutions
✅ Collaborate with engineers, product management, and design to solve complex problems

🎯 What We’re Looking For

✔️ 5+ years of backend web development experience
✔️ Expertise in API design and relational databases
✔️ Strong understanding of scalability and server-side performance
✔️ Prior experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus
✔️ Passion for technology and commitment to quality
✔️ Ability to manage tasks and contribute to multiple projects in a sprint
