About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to building and scaling Crusoe Cloud’s customer-facing platforms and managed services. Your role will focus on delivering world-class cloud products that enhance the customer experience and empower users to unlock the full potential of Crusoe Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Build Foundational Infrastructure: Design and scale core infrastructure services that manage critical resources within the cloud platform. Ensure robust and reliable systems from the ground up.
- Scalable Design: Develop platform services that are scalable, durable, and easy to use.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead projects involving collaboration with engineering, cloud support, site reliability, and product teams to assess tools, frameworks, and solutions that meet both customer and operational needs.
- Innovation: Focus on creating operationally efficient, low-touch adoption, and scalable AI services that differentiate Crusoe Cloud.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Cloud Expertise: Proven ability to design and scale fault-tolerant distributed systems and manage cloud services.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of microservices and infrastructure technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD systems. Experience with observability technologies (time-series databases, log aggregation, distributed tracing) is a plus.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Focus on creating high-quality solutions that enhance customer success and satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-first solutions.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate complex technical ideas and align solutions with customer needs.
- Leadership: Mentor engineers, improve hiring practices, and contribute to building a strong, inclusive engineering culture.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of software development experience, with proficiency in modern compiled languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or C++.

Compensation
- Salary Range: $183,000 – $250,000
- Restricted Stock Units included in all offers
- Compensation determined based on experience, education, and market alignment
