🚀 The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack) to help us build, scale, and future-proof our customer platform. You’ll drive high-impact product features, lead architectural decisions, and collaborate across teams to deliver the most seamless digital life insurance journey in Canada.

🎯 What You’ll Be Doing

• 🏗️ Design and build full-stack web applications, from architecture to production
• 🤝 Partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and QA for seamless user experience
• 💬 Lead technical discussions and drive engineering best practices across the team
• 🔐 Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability
• 🧭 Champion consistency across codebases and development processes

• Frontend: React, Redux, Gatsby, Webpack
• Backend: Python, Node.js
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Cloud: AWS
• Environment: UNIX/Linux

📌 Key Qualifications

• ✅ 5+ years in fullstack web development
• ✅ Strong experience with React, Python, and Node.js
• ✅ Proven ability to work in fast-paced startup environments
• ✅ Comfortable working across the stack and handling ambiguous technical challenges
• ✅ Experience in UNIX/Linux-based systems
• ✅ Track record of owning features from ideation through deployment
