🚀 About the Role

GoDaddy is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Developer Experience team. You’ll help design, develop, and maintain full-stack platform tools that support GoDaddy’s product engineering teams. This position is remote-first (within Colombia), with occasional team meetups.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality code with robust unit and integration testing.
• Participate in the planning and design of scalable platforms for internal use.
• Conduct code reviews and champion engineering best practices.
• Engage in operational support, including deployments and on-call rotations.
• Document systems and technical decisions clearly and concisely.
• Collaborate across engineering and business teams to solve company-wide challenges.
• Mentor and support fellow engineers.

📌 Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development roles.
• Proficiency in JavaScript (client/server) and modern frameworks such as React.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Background in at least one low-level programming language: Java, C/C++, Rust, or Go.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and scalable API design.
• Familiarity with DevOps workflows (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
• Solid understanding of web protocols (HTTP, JSON, networking basics).
