As a Senior Product Security Engineer at Dynatrace, you will work closely with software engineers and architects to drive product security initiatives. Your responsibilities will include security reviews, threat modeling, and the implementation of robust security measures across engineering teams. You will contribute to scaling security practices across the organization, ensuring a secure development lifecycle, and fostering a collaborative security culture.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software engineering teams to conduct security reviews and threat modeling for Dynatrace products.
• Identify and drive the implementation of security improvements for critical features.
• Provide guidance on security best practices and ensure consistent security mechanisms across all engineering teams.
• Contribute to the automation of security processes and scale security initiatives across the organization.
• Participate in a dynamic security community, leading knowledge-sharing sessions and fostering a culture of security awareness.
• Shape and advance the security strategy and roadmap within your area of responsibility.

✅ What You Bring

• Extensive professional experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise in areas such as web application security, cloud security, Kubernetes security, container security, operating system security, or secure coding.
• Ability to communicate complex security topics to diverse, non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with secure development lifecycle practices, including secure coding, automated security testing, and threat modeling.
• Proficiency with security tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning).
• Desirable: Experience in software development and a collaborative, proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
