🔍 Team Overview
The Ads Measurement Modeling team builds advanced machine learning models to power Reddit’s ad measurement ecosystem. From privacy-enhancing technologies and modeled conversions to identity resolution, we’re committed to delivering high-impact, advertiser-friendly, privacy-compliant systems. We’re a collaborative team of ML engineers, backend developers, and product managers — and we’re hiring!
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ML projects — from idea and design to implementation and deployment.
- Build scalable machine learning models for modeled conversions, identity matching, and privacy-first ad measurement.
- Identify opportunities to enhance ad efficiency through platform insights.
- Drive experimentation via A/B testing and fine-tune model performance.
- Collaborate with data scientists, backend engineers, and product teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across the org.
- Stay ahead of ML innovations and adapt state-of-the-art research to Reddit’s infrastructure.
- Design and maintain high-performance, distributed systems supporting ML workflows.
✅ Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning or large-scale data systems.
- Proven track record of delivering ML systems in production environments.
- Expertise in algorithm design, model training, and deployment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical projects.
🌟 Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Ads Privacy, Modeled Conversions, or Ad Signal Processing.
- Background in Sequence Modeling, Transformer Architectures, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Skilled in Bayesian methods, experimentation frameworks, and statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with orchestrating complex data pipelines and distributed systems at scale.
💰 Compensation & Pay Transparency
Base Salary Range: $216,700 – $303,400 USD
💵 Includes equity in the form of RSUs and may include performance-based bonuses.
