Job Overview

Brillio is seeking a Senior Lead Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design, development, and deployment of scalable backend services. You will contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, from coding and testing to production deployment, ensuring high performance and reliability. The role requires expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices, along with experience in CI/CD pipeline, Kafka, and other backend technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design, implement, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and Microservices.
• Lifecycle Management: Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, including coding, unit testing, implementation, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Application Design: Analyze user requirements to define system business objectives, ensuring application designs align with business goals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with QA, App Support, and Business teams to coordinate releases and address any production/environmental issues.
• System Architecture: Architect scalable and high-performance backend services, ensuring the system meets performance and reliability standards.
• Technical Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues during development and deployment stages.
• Software Development: Write clean, well-designed, and testable code, conduct software analysis, and perform debugging and testing.
• Agile Methodology: Follow agile development practices, including grooming user stories and collaborating with the team.

Required Skills

• Java Backend Expertise: Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and Microservices.
• CI/CD Pipeline: Knowledge and hands-on experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Database Knowledge: Experience with Oracle RDBMS, MySQL, and other relational databases.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Software Development Lifecycle: Ability to contribute to all stages, from design to production deployment, while ensuring high-quality code and performance.
• Problem-Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across the development and production environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Hibernate and Java REST Web API.
• Experience in agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
