👨💻 Role Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering resilient, scalable, and secure cloud solutions across our Products & Software Development (P&SD) portfolio. You’ll also lead cloud initiatives, guide junior engineers, and promote DevOps culture across multidisciplinary teams.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-native services, especially in AWS
- Maintain Windows and Linux systems across hybrid environments
- Build infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates)
- Own and streamline CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains
- Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles for performance and uptime
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
- Automate platform and application processes in collaboration with developers
- Lead documentation, stakeholder communication, and status reporting
- Advocate and implement DevOps culture within teams and the broader organization
✅ Requirements & Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering with focus on AWS
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
- Solid knowledge of:
- IaC: Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation
- Config Mgmt: Ansible, PowerShell DSC
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux
- CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins
- SCM Tools: GitHub, Azure Repos, Bitbucket
- Servers: IIS, NGINX, Apache, Tomcat
- Databases: MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle
- Monitoring Tools: Dynatrace, AppInsights, Nagios, Splunk
Soft Skills:
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience
- Agile team experience (Scrum/DevOps)
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to drive decisions and work independently
💡 Nice to Have
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure preferred)
- Experience with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppInsights)
- Familiarity with OWASP SAMM
- Exposure to security tools (e.g., Snyk, Azure Defender, NeuVector)
