Join the Business Insights team at Dynatrace and play a mission-critical role in managing and evolving our enterprise data infrastructure. As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll be the driving force behind scalable, resilient, and high-performance data pipelines that transform raw data into meaningful insights. You’ll architect the data stack, lead engineering best practices, and drive innovations that power real-time business decisions across global operations.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Own and evolve the data architecture behind Dynatrace’s analytical products.

Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration from diverse sources.

Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability across production environments.

Implement robust CI/CD pipelines with functional and unit testing.

Partner with business stakeholders to translate data needs into production-ready assets.

Create and manage data models (conceptual, logical, and physical) for structured and semi-structured data.

Collaborate with Data Governance teams to ensure regulatory compliance and policy alignment.

Proactively monitor data systems, implementing error recovery, alerting, and security mechanisms.
✅ Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Engineering, ideally within Business Intelligence or analytics domains.

Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.

Deep experience with Snowflake and cloud storage platforms (e.g., AWS S3).

Demonstrated success in optimizing real-time dashboards and data pipelines.

Strong performance tuning skills in query and data handling.

Proven track record of resilient, secure, and scalable data architecture.
➕ Preferred Skills & Certifications

Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or Dataiku.

Understanding of Data Observability, Data Quality, and Monitoring tools.

AWS or Snowflake certifications (or equivalent cloud certifications).

Background in big data, machine learning, and cloud-native solutions.

Knowledge of modern data paradigms (HTAP, Data Lakehouse, Time-Series DBs, Event Streaming, Graph DBs).

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.

Ability to manage ambiguity and execute in fast-paced environments.
