Job Description:
As a Senior Cloud AI Software Developer, you will architect, develop, and deploy cutting-edge Cloud and AI solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly Google’s Generative AI tools. You will play a pivotal role in designing scalable AI models that address real-world business challenges, ensuring the seamless integration of AI solutions into production environments.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance, mentor team members, and drive the future of digital billing with innovative cloud and AI technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- AI Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy AI models using GCP services (e.g., Vertex AI, AutoML, BERT, T5) to solve business challenges.
- Generative AI Solutions: Leverage Google Gemini and other AI tools to create generative AI solutions that enhance customer experiences.
- Model Deployment & Integration: Deploy large language models (e.g., OpenAI GPT, Google Bard) for NLP tasks, chatbots, and other custom AI applications.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize the efficiency and robustness of AI solutions in production environments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, scientists, and other stakeholders to streamline workflows and ensure optimal solution performance.
- API Development: Build, optimize, and document APIs using OpenAPI standards to integrate AI solutions.
- Mentorship: Guide junior team members in AI/ML best practices, and provide leadership for AI/Cloud projects.
- Stay Current: Continuously evaluate new AI advancements and incorporate them into the development process.
What You Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in AI development.
- Strong experience with GCP Services such as Vertex AI, Kubernetes, Cloud Functions, and more.
- Proven experience deploying Generative AI solutions and large language models.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Java.
- Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Terraform).
- Familiarity with AI Ethics and Responsible AI practices.
- Leadership: Strong project management and team mentoring capabilities.
- Collaboration & Communication: Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Great-to-Haves:
- Hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Deep knowledge of DevOps methodologies and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Understanding of the Telecommunications Industry and familiarity with 5G technologies.
- Working knowledge of API integrations with Generative AI models.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $95,000 – $143,000
- Performance Bonus: 15%
