🔍 Your Role
As a Security Engineer, you will:
✅ Collaborate with engineering teams to improve Retool’s security and resilience.
✅ Develop technical solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and enhance product security.
✅ Conduct security assessments, code audits, and design reviews.
✅ Identify and address potential attack vectors.
✅ Manage penetration testing and bug bounty programs.
✅ Oversee governance, risk, and compliance efforts.
✅ Provide security training and best practices across teams.
✅ Advocate for a security-first approach within Retool.
🛠 What You’ll Bring
🎯 Experience: 3+ years in security engineering or related fields, implementing scalable, secure solutions. 🎯 Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Docker, and web security.
🎯 Security Architecture: Proven ability to design secure, scalable systems.
🎯 Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to work with engineering, sales, finance, and more to drive impactful outcomes.
🎯 Problem-Solving: Ability to break down complex security challenges and implement robust solutions. 🎯 Mentorship: A passion for educating teams on security best practices.
🎯 Communication: Clear and effective articulation of security threats and risk mitigation strategies.
💰 Compensation & Benefits
💵 Salary Range (San Francisco): $164,600 – $222,600 USD
