🧩 Role Overview

We’re looking for a skilled RPA Developer to join a high-visibility program with the Department of Homeland Security (ICE). You’ll design and implement automation workflows using UiPath to modernize how users interact with legacy systems. This role combines technical excellence with strategic impactβ€”enabling real-time decisions for public-facing and field operations.


πŸ› οΈ Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain UiPath-based RPA solutions that are scalable, secure, and compliant
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to transform requirements into automation workflows
  • Architect automation frameworks that integrate with voice, chat, and document understanding platforms
  • Lead automation solution delivery through the UiPath Studio and Orchestrator
  • Develop support documentation (SOPs, playbooks) and provide ongoing system troubleshooting
  • Monitor and evaluate automation performance; fine-tune as needed
  • Partner with Scrum Masters and cross-functional teams to align with Agile best practices
  • Mentor junior developers and review work for code quality, functionality, and standards compliance
  • Participate in daily Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement

🎯 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in RPA/Automation development using tools like UiPath (required)
  • Working knowledge of Power Automate, AWS, or other automation platforms
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C#, VB, or .NET
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and lifecycle practices
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a consultative mindset
  • Ability to engage with federal stakeholders and translate business needs into ROI-driven automation
  • Experience creating clear, client-facing documentation and process guides

🚦 Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Public Trust / EOD / Top-Secret clearance (highly desirable)
  • Experience in public sector IT, especially supporting DHS or similar agencies
  • Exposure to Machine Learning or AI-enhanced automation frameworks
  • Leadership experience managing automation teams or guiding junior developers
