π Role Overview
As an Associate DevSecOps Engineer β Data Security, you’ll be responsible for engineering security solutions, automating processes, and supporting data security tools across our on-premise and cloud database environments. Youβll work closely with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks, monitor threats, and enhance security operations.
π― Key Responsibilities

Automate security solutions to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.
β
Support & maintain Data Security tools within on-prem and cloud (AWS) database environments.
β
Monitor, assess, and respond to security threats and emerging risks.
β
Assist with security assessments and implement remediation strategies.
β
Ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security best practices.
β
Support reporting and regulatory data requirements.
π What You Bring
πΉ 1-3+ years of experience in DevOps, cybersecurity, or cloud technologies.
πΉ Bachelorβs or Associateβs degree (or equivalent experience) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields.
πΉ Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
πΉ Hands-on experience with AWS databases, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines.
πΉ Strong knowledge of risk management frameworks (NIST, Data Security Maturity Model).
πΉ Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
πΉ Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, product owners, and business teams.

β¨ Passion for cybersecurity & DevSecOps.
β¨ Experience with Kubernetes & workload orchestration.
β¨ Knowledge of data security principles, encryption, and secure coding practices.
β¨ Certifications from GIAC, ISC(2), or similar cybersecurity organizations.

π΅ Salary Range: $64,820 – $120,380 (based on experience & location).
