🎯 Position Overview

We’re seeking a highly skilled SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) to design, implement, secure, and maintain enterprise-level SQL Server database systems. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, hands-on technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high-performance, resilient systems—whether on-premise or in the cloud.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and manage SQL Server RDBMS systems in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical databases supporting corporate applications.
• Perform routine tasks such as backups, patches, and updates to ensure optimal system health.
• Diagnose and resolve complex database issues including performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and outages.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery strategies to minimize risk and downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate application needs into scalable data solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation, performance metrics, and status reports for internal stakeholders.
• Adhere to IT governance and best practices around data protection, compliance, and change management.
• Take ownership of projects, meeting deadlines and maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

📌 Qualifications & Skills

• ✔ Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA, including configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning.
• ✔ Strong working knowledge of SQL Server internals, indexing, backup/restore, and high-availability configurations.
• ✔ Familiarity with cloud-based deployments (Azure/AWS) is preferred.
• ✔ Experience with additional technologies like PostgreSQL or Python is a plus.
• ✔ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• ✔ Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across teams.
• ✔ Flexible, proactive, and able to manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
