The Role

Our vision for Veeva Link is to become the global leader in deep data for life sciences. Our platform connects pharmaceutical professionals with top experts for clinical trials, advisory boards, and educational programs—helping reduce time-to-market for critical drugs and advancing medical research.

We are looking for an experienced People Manager to lead one of our Data Operations teams. You will oversee a team of 5 direct reports and hundreds of data curators, ensuring efficient and high-quality data operations that drive our product development.

This role is ideal for someone who:
✔ Leads with engagement and accountability.
✔ Drives process improvements with a data-driven mindset.
✔ Is hands-on, analyzing data to inform decisions.
✔ Understands product value and collaborates with product teams.

As a key part of our Data Operations leadership team, you will work cross-functionally with Product Management, Data Engineering, and Data Science to optimize operations and deliver high-impact data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize Data Operations – Identify, conceptualize, and implement process improvements.
• Ensure Data Quality – Guide teams in curating high-quality data and analyzing performance.
• Lead & Mentor – Manage a high-performing team, fostering engagement and accountability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration – Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Product, Data Science, and Engineering.
• Analyze & Drive Performance – Leverage data insights to enhance team efficiency.
• Execute Change with Speed – Lead fast-paced improvements in data operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

✅ 5+ years of leadership experience in managing teams.
✅ Proven track record in process optimization & improvements.
✅ Strong data analysis skills (Excel proficiency, including pivot tables & formulas).
✅ Excellent communication skills in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in the life sciences industry (education or work experience).
• Background in data product businesses.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
