The Role

We’re looking for an experienced People Manager to lead a Data Operations team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for a team of 5 Veevans and hundreds of curators, ensuring high-quality data operations that drive our products forward.

You’ll be a hands-on leader who fosters a high-performance culture, drives process improvements, and collaborates cross-functionally with Product Management, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Optimize processes to improve efficiency and data quality.
✅ Lead a high-performing team, fostering engagement and accountability.
✅ Oversee data curation, ensuring high standards in accuracy and reliability.
✅ Support Data Analysts in assessing and maintaining data integrity.
✅ Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in Product, Engineering, and Data Science.
✅ Analyze team performance and implement data-driven strategies.
✅ Drive change quickly and effectively within Data Operations.

Required Skills & Experience:

✔️ 5+ years of experience in people leadership.
✔️ Proven track record in process optimization and improvement.
✔️ Strong data analysis skills, including pivot tables & nested formulas in spreadsheets.
✔️ Excellent English communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

🔹 Life sciences experience (academic or professional).
🔹 Experience working with data products.
🔹 Knowledge of SQL, Tableau, or other data analytics tools.
