Job Overview

Join our Air Dominance and Strike (AD&S) team as a Mission Systems Engineering Lead to design and integrate autonomous air systems that ensure exceptional warfighter outcomes. You’ll be responsible for the selection, sourcing, and validation of mission-relevant payloads and systems, from conceptual development through integration and validation.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Integration & Payload Development: Lead the integration of communication, sensing, and effector systems to meet mission objectives.
• System Architecture: Design multi-function, multi-mode autonomous payloads and systems, including defining requirements and interfaces.
• Modeling & Simulation: Develop or adapt physics-based models for system performance and effects-based models for mission-level simulations.
• Performance Validation: Work with test engineers to validate system performance and ensure successful integration.
• Collaboration: Engage with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure timely technical development and system integration.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
• Expertise in communications, sensors, and effectors (Radar, EO/IR, RF, and EW)
• Proficient in physics-based modeling and analysis tools (MATLAB, Python, C++, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in payload integration and validation
• 5+ years in a relevant Science or Engineering field

Preferred:

• Knowledge of advanced communications and sensing systems
• Experience with platform-level integration
• Advanced proficiency in tools like MATLAB, Ansys, and COMSOL
• Experience with missile design and integration

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $182,000 – $273,000 USD (base salary)
