💼 Role Overview

Insightsoftware is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team, responsible for ensuring high-quality product delivery through both manual and automated testing. This role works closely with the Product Owner, Developers, Support, and Services teams to understand the product’s functionality and its usage by end users. The ideal candidate will mentor junior team members, focusing on test frameworks, test strategy, and quality metrics.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

✅ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product functionality and usage.
✅ Develop and execute test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.
✅ Perform whitebox, blackbox, performance, and load testing.
✅ Mentor junior team members on test frameworks and quality metrics.
✅ Provide expertise in test coverage and contribute to improving the testing process.

🎯 Required Skills and Experience

🔹 4+ years of experience in QA Automation in a C#/.NET Framework environment.
🔹 4+ years of experience in creating and managing Test Suites and Test Cases (experience with Jira-Xray is preferred).
🔹 3+ years of experience with modern automation frameworks, specifically Selenium or Ranorex.
🔹 3+ years of experience with test case data management and data staging.
🔹 2+ years of experience with T-SQL and SQL Server.
🔹 2+ years of experience in testing Web Services (REST/WSDL).

🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills

🔹 Experience with XML Technologies (XSLT, XPath, XQuery).
🔹 Familiarity with Agile Methodologies (Scrum).
🔹 Experience in writing technical documentation.

🎓 Qualifications

🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
🔹 Strong sense of ownership, ability to ramp up quickly, and a bias for action.
🔹 Strong organizational and communication skills.
🔹 Expertise in testing code and a strong sense of quality.
