🔧 What You’ll Do

• Own and develop high-performance, distributed messaging systems, ensuring high-quality code and seamless platform integration
• Lead production issue resolution while proactively identifying potential problems
• Champion code refactoring to enhance quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including TPMs, Product Managers, and engineers of varying technical backgrounds
• Work with technologies such as React, Node.js, Java, AWS, Kafka, Kotlin, and DynamoDB to deliver impactful features
• Support a distributed engineering team across time zones, fostering open communication and effective problem-solving

✅ Experience and Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Java code, particularly in distributed systems and web technologies
• Proven expertise in React, AWS, Lambda, and No-SQL databases
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to quickly research and resolve complex technical issues
• Demonstrated experience in solving real-time, distributed computing challenges
• Strong interest in learning and taking on increasingly complex technical tasks
• Flexibility to work with a geographically distributed team and willingness to occasionally adjust work hours to support international collaboration

💸 Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $137,500 – $192,500 (Seattle, WA)
• Top Pay Potential: Up to $220,000 based on performance
