π§Ύ About the Role
As a FinOps Analyst – Billing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring billing accuracy and financial integrity across GeoComplyβs global client base. This cross-functional role interfaces with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer Success teams to manage invoices, reconcile accounts, support billing inquiries, and streamline operational processes.
π οΈ Key Responsibilities
π Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare, verify, and process customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Ensure billing aligns with contracts and internal policies.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies proactively.
πΌ Accounts Reconciliation
- Liaise with Sales and clients to collect payments and reconcile accounts.
- Support financial close processes (monthly/yearly).
π Client Support
- Serve as the primary contact for billing inquiries.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve client issues efficiently.
π Process & System Optimization
- Recommend and implement improvements to billing processes and tools.
- Contribute to automation and system enhancement projects.
π Data Analytics
- Prepare billing reports and analyze trends to support strategic decisions.
- Track billing KPIs and recommend performance improvements.
β Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in billing, accounting, or financial operations.
- Solid grasp of billing workflows and account reconciliation.
- Advanced Excel skills; NetSuite and/or ZoneBilling experience is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a data-driven mindset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (English proficiency required).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
