We are hiring a Director of Software Engineering to lead a critical technical portfolio. You will oversee teams responsible for Corporate Infrastructure, Integrations, and Internal Software Engineering—driving innovation and operational excellence across Dropbox.

• 🌟 Strategic Leadership: Set vision, prioritize initiatives, and drive long-term outcomes aligned with business goals.
• 🤝 Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, Security, Product, and Business Systems to align technical efforts.
• 🔧 Execution & Delivery: Lead end-to-end delivery of scalable, secure, and high-impact infrastructure and software systems.
• 👥 People Development: Attract, mentor, and grow top-tier engineering talent; champion a collaborative and inclusive culture.
• 🏗️ Technical Excellence: Uphold high standards in architecture, code quality, and system reliability.
• 📊 Roadmap Ownership: Develop and manage technical roadmaps; deliver impactful internal tools and integrations.

✅ You Bring

• 🎓 BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• 👥 3+ years of engineering people management experience
• 💻 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience
• 🏆 2+ years in a Director-level engineering leadership role
• 🧱 Strong experience in infrastructure, automation, cloud services, and platform engineering
• ☁️ Deep understanding of cloud-based architecture and service management (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)

💰 Compensation & Rewards

Canadian Salary Range: CAD $244,000 – $330,100 (Total OTE)
