🔹 Role Summary

We’re seeking a Director of Software Engineering to lead mission-critical initiatives across Corporate Infrastructure, Internal Integrations, and Software Engineering teams. This high-impact leadership role requires strategic foresight, deep technical acumen, and a people-first mindset.

You’ll be responsible for scaling internal systems, enhancing productivity platforms, and ensuring alignment between infrastructure strategy and organizational objectives. Expect high visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and the opportunity to drive lasting impact.

• 🧭 Strategic Leadership: Define and drive vision for Dropbox’s internal software infrastructure and integrations platform.

🔹 Requirements

• 🎓 Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 👥 Leadership Experience:
  • 3+ years managing engineering teams.
  • 2+ years at the Director level or higher.
• 💻 Technical Experience:
  • 5+ years as a hands-on software engineer.
  • Experience with Infrastructure, Software Systems, and Low/No-Code Automation.
  • Proven success managing cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.) and their services.

🔹 Compensation & Zones

This role is remote-first and eligible in US Zones 2 and 3:

• 💰 Zone 2: $248,600 – $336,400 USD
• 💰 Zone 3: $221,000 – $299,000 USD

💡 Note: Dropbox uses your zip code to determine zone eligibility. Salary is one part of a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including bonus eligibility and RSUs.
