🚀 Role Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll be responsible for driving continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes, managing cloud-based infrastructure, and ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of our applications. You’ll utilize automation, observability tools, and AI-driven innovations to optimize DevOps workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- CI/CD & Deployment: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and optimize cloud resources (AWS preferred, Azure/Google Cloud) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform.
- Zero-Downtime Deployments: Implement strategies for zero downtime deployments to ensure continuous service availability.
- GitOps Practices: Utilize ArgoCD for GitOps practices to streamline operations and deployments.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Leverage Docker & Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS) to containerize and orchestrate services.
- Monitoring & Observability: Use ELK Stack, Grafana, and Prometheus to monitor and log infrastructure performance.
- Messaging & Caching: Manage Kafka clusters and Redis for real-time messaging and caching needs.
- Automation: Automate routine tasks using Python scripts and AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot).
- Cloud Cost Optimization: Implement strategies for optimizing cloud infrastructure costs.
- Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless development and operational outcomes.
✅ Expectations/Requirements
- Experience:
- 3+ years of DevOps experience
- Expertise in AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google Cloud
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and ArgoCD
- Expertise in Docker & Kubernetes (EKS/GKE/AKS)
- Familiarity with Kafka and Redis for production-level messaging and caching
- Experience in monitoring with ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Grafana, and Prometheus
- Skills:
- Scripting: Python (preferred for automation)
- AI Tools: Knowledge of leveraging AI tools to improve DevOps productivity
- Cloud Cost Optimization: Understanding best practices to minimize cloud infrastructure costs
- Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
