Position Summary:

Deloitte is seeking an energetic and highly skilled Automation Software Engineer to join our Government and Public Services (GPS) team. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in software engineering, including experience with Python and other automation-related languages. The role will involve developing, automating, and implementing solutions using technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and exploring AI tools like Agentic AI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions from end-to-end.
  • Work with Python and other languages like .NET, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, Ruby, and Perl.
  • Explore and implement automation tools such as RPA (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
  • Contribute to the development of AI-driven solutions, including Agentic AI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of solutions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze and solve complex problems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • Strong experience with Python and at least one other foundational language (.NET, Java, JavaScript).
  • Proven expertise in software engineering practices, including version control and continuous integration.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional automation languages (Ruby, Perl, Shell scripting).
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks like Selenium, Jenkins, or Ansible.
  • Knowledge of RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).
  • Exposure to AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Previous experience in a similar fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary Range:

$102,750 – $171,250 per year, based on experience, with eligibility for discretionary annual incentives.
