🔍 Position Summary
Deloitte’s Core Business Operations (CBO) team is hiring a Senior Cloud Architect to lead and execute cloud infrastructure solutions that enable mission acceleration and digital transformation for public sector clients. This role involves designing secure, scalable cloud architectures and driving innovation in cloud governance, automation, and DevSecOps integration.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure tailored to client requirements.
- Develop and manage cloud governance frameworks, SOPs, and compliance standards.
- Automate end-to-end deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management via IaC tools.
- Create reusable templates/scripts for provisioning and managing cloud assets.
- Support client-facing engagements and act as a technical SME on multi-cloud deployments.
- Integrate containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and DevSecOps practices.
- Perform infrastructure planning, static code analysis, testing, and performance tuning.
- Ensure alignment of cloud architecture with federal regulations and mission objectives.
🧠 Requirements
Must-Haves:
- 🎓 Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- 🛡️ Active TS/SCI government clearance
- 📊 5+ years in cloud platform engineering (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 🧭 10+ years of experience in government IT environments
- 📋 PMP Certification
- 📉 Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Ansible, CloudFormation), DevSecOps, and multi-domain security
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in military/intelligence applications (GEOINT, SIGINT, All-Source, etc.)
- Hands-on with hybrid/multi-cloud solutions (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Understanding of enterprise IT architecture and software lifecycle management
