Deloitte is hiring a Senior Infrastructure Engineer under our Project Delivery Talent Model (PDM)—designed for consultants who want to work on high-impact projects without extensive travel. This role is critical in supporting cloud migration strategies for government agencies, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

You’ll spearhead cloud infrastructure implementation, automation, CI/CD enablement, and security in complex cloud environments. The work you do here will redefine how the public sector delivers services.


🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead deployment and migration of cross-organization internal GCP cloud projects.

  • Architect and manage GCP-based cloud infrastructure, leveraging Terraform for IaC.

  • Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and security controls.

  • Create reusable automation scripts and best practice toolkits.

  • Monitor system performance, optimize uptime, and manage resource utilization.

  • Act as a trusted advisor on cloud troubleshooting and performance tuning.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, project managers, and engagement leads.

  • Drive workflow optimization and process transformation initiatives.

  • Deliver technical demonstrations and documentation to internal and external stakeholders.


đź§  What You Bring

Required:

  • 7+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or networking (GCP preferred).

  • 7+ years of coding in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • 7+ years of experience with Terraform for infrastructure deployment.

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% based on project needs.

  • U.S. work authorization (limited immigration sponsorship available).

Preferred:

  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience delivering technical presentations and demonstrations.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.

  • Salary Range: $98,875 – $163,125 (based on experience and location)

  • Eligibility for a discretionary annual performance bonus
