Deloitte is hiring an Epic Tableau SQL Developer to support long-term, client-facing technology transformation under the Project Delivery Talent Model (PDM). This role is ideal for a data visualization expert with strong SQL skills and hands-on Epic system experience, looking to deliver innovative healthcare analytics solutionsβ€”without the burden of frequent travel.


πŸ› οΈ Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards for clinical, operational, and financial reporting using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Perform ETL operations on Epic Clarity and Caboodle datasets.
  • Write and fine-tune complex T-SQL and PL/SQL queries for efficient data extraction.
  • Partner with Epic analysts, clinicians, and business users to define KPIs and reporting needs.
  • Ensure data governance, privacy, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Automate report refreshes via Tableau Server or Power BI Service.
  • Monitor and optimize dashboard performance and load times.
  • Participate in system upgrades and enhancements where needed.

πŸŽ“ Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau (or Power BI).
  • 3+ years of experience working in healthcare or clinical data environments.
  • Proven proficiency in SQL (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
  • Active Epic certification (Clarity, Caboodle, etc.).
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, depending on client and project needs.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Limited immigration sponsorship may be available).

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent project prioritization and task management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Estimated salary range: $75,000 – $115,000 USD
