🚀 The Role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer with experience in building high-impact, scalable systems. In this role, you will design and develop services, APIs, and workflow engines that power Clari’s Revenue Platform. You’ll be part of a dynamic team solving complex, large-scale problems, all while delivering cutting-edge solutions.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs, backend services, and systems for Clari’s engineering teams
• Create scalable, future-proof architectures and interfaces that meet client requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and develop new features
• Lead high-impact, cross-team projects that significantly contribute to business growth
• Troubleshoot production issues and enhance system observability and reliability
• Implement engineering best practices, tool improvements, and process optimizations

✅ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java or similar object-oriented languages
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, data modeling, and streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka)
• Experience with data stores (relational and NoSQL), and performance optimization
• Solid understanding of cloud-native architectures (preferably AWS)
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with observable and scalable systems
