Are you a seasoned software engineer with strong Java expertise and a passion for scalable systems? GoDaddy is hiring a Backend Software Development Engineer to join our Identity team. You’ll help build a secure, performant, and globally distributed microservices platform that powers customer logins, profiles, and preferences across our global ecosystem.
🔍 What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain fault-tolerant, highly available microservices on AWS Cloud.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional scrum team including product managers, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement across systems in reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs that handle user identity and preferences.
✅ What You Bring
- 💻 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- 🔧 Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework.
- 🌐 Experience developing RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures.
- ☁️ 2+ years of Cloud computing experience (AWS preferred).
- 🗃️ Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- 🔄 Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.).
- 🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- E-commerce or SaaS domain exposure.
