Corpay is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Domestic Payables division. In this remote role, you’ll lead the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, emerging technologies knowledge, and cloud strategy implementation skills to enhance our infrastructure and security, driving business efficiency and growth.


πŸ› οΈ Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and deploy optimal cloud solutions.
  • Define and document best practices for cloud application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams, enhancing their cloud competencies.
  • Ensure high application performance, uptime, and scalability while maintaining code quality and design standards.
  • Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security policies.
  • Lead efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS-based applications, including data processing and advanced analytics.
  • Engage in the full software development lifecycle for AWS solutions: planning, development, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, resolve issues, and implement preventive actions.
  • Educate teams on new cloud-based initiatives and provide relevant training.

πŸŽ“ Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in architecting and implementing AWS-based cloud solutions.
  • Expertise in AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
  • Experience in database architecture, ETL, big data, machine learning, and advanced analytics.
  • Proven collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including developers and data scientists.
  • Knowledge of finance/accounting practices, particularly in rebates, is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, or Mathematics.
  • Familiarity with web services, API, REST, NodeJS, JavaScript, Angular, PrimeNG, and Excel-based tools.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.
