🎯 Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer III to join our Enterprise Applications team within the CIO organization. This role is integral to driving digital transformation and operational efficiency across core business systems—including Go-To-Market, Finance, and HR. You’ll design and deliver sophisticated automation solutions, integrate enterprise systems, and lead the charge on automation strategy and governance.
This is a hands-on engineering role with strategic impact, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to mentor peers on automation best practices.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex automation workflows using RPA and integration platforms
- Build intelligent bots and scripts for business process automation
- Develop and integrate automation with enterprise systems via APIs and web services
- Create and enforce SOX-compliant deployment processes
- Establish robust testing and QA frameworks for automation solutions
- Monitor, measure, and optimize bot performance and resource efficiency
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation workflows and systems
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across automated processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities
- Stay current with RPA, GenAI, and low/no-code technology trends
- Contribute to long-term automation roadmap and strategy
- Mentor junior team members on automation techniques and tools
✅ Minimum Qualifications
- Proven success in delivering enterprise-grade automation solutions
- Expertise with platforms like Workato, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism
- Strong programming skills in Python, Ruby, C#, Java, or VBScript
- Solid understanding of API integrations, webhooks, and enterprise data flow
- Familiarity with process mapping, optimization, and business analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High business acumen and ability to translate requirements into technical architecture
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in SOX-compliant or public company environments
- Certification in major RPA/automation platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD principles
- Background in enterprise system integration (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.)
- Exposure to process mining and automation analytics
- Experience with virtual agents or no-code app platforms
