The Role

As a Senior Product Manager, Dev Solutions, you’ll drive the success of Compass, a key product shaping how platform and software engineers collaborate on distributed systems. You’ll work cross-functionally to innovate, experiment, and deliver cutting-edge solutions in software engineering.

What You’ll Do 🔹

✅ Vision & Strategy – Define the future of Compass by identifying customer needs, analyzing market trends, and making strategic product decisions.
✅ Leadership – Lead software teams to develop impactful features, iterating through experimentation.
✅ Problem-Solving – Identify user pain points and deliver solutions that drive adoption and engagement.
✅ Product Experimentation – Scope, test, and refine features that improve customer experience and business goals.
✅ Execution – Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to post-launch optimization.
✅ Collaboration – Work closely with design and engineering teams to build seamless experiences while leveraging Atlassian’s platform capabilities.

What We’re Looking For 🔍

🎯 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in software engineering or DevOps products.
🎯 Technical fluency with APIs, event-driven systems, and integrations.
🎯 Experience in Agile, DevOps, SRE, or developer-focused products.
🎯 Strong market knowledge in software engineering, DevOps, or IT operations.

Nice to Have 🌟

➕ A degree in technology-related fields (BE/BS/BA).
➕ Experience with developer communities or open-source projects.
➕ Background in software engineering, platform engineering, or internal developer tools.
➕ B2B or enterprise product experience.

Compensation & Benefits 💰

📌 Base Salary (US Pay Zones):

• Zone A: $162,000 – $216,000
• Zone B: $145,800 – $194,400
• Zone C: $134,500 – $179,300
  💡 Final salary is based on experience, location, and skills.
