Job Description:

The Analytics Administrator will join the BI Analytics & Strategy team, providing expertise and administrative support for our Analytics Cloud platform. This role will report to the Analytics Enablement portfolio leader, offering opportunities for growth in the data analytics field. As an administrator, you will independently monitor and optimize platform usage and performance metrics, leveraging Tableau Cloud and other BI technologies to ensure the efficiency and security of our analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Tableau Cloud and other analytics platforms, including license management, workbook promotion, and managing object security/permissions (RBAC).
• Monitor platform performance (Data Catalog, Tableau) and generate regular platform metrics reports.
• Ensure data connections and sources are up-to-date and accessible.
• Define and promote platform best practices across the organization for Data Catalog and Tableau.
• Maintain platform object organization and security.
• Provide user support, including troubleshooting workbooks and data sources, offering suggestions for improvements.
• Manage users, groups, permissions, and content, while communicating new features and providing training.
• Collaborate with BI developers, offering consulting services and specific guidelines on platform usage, including live vs. extracted data sources.

Qualifications:

Technical Knowledge:

• Extensive experience in Tableau Cloud administration and dashboard design.
• Proficiency in Tableau REST API, embedding APIs, and integration capabilities.
• Hands-on expertise in automating tasks such as deployment, logging, alerts, and content monitoring (Python preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau functionalities such as Tableau Bridge, Tableau Pulse, and Connected apps.
• Strong understanding of data governance and security practices.
• Experience managing Tableau users, groups, and content.
• Ability to recommend best practices in development and critique design approaches.

Skills:

• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Advanced analytical and diagnostic skills with the ability to solve novel issues.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, optimizing available resources for efficient solutions.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $83,000 – $121,000 annually (dependent on education, skills, experience, and location).
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus and various benefits, including medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits as per applicable plan documents.
• Benefits for union-represented employees are outlined in the relevant collective bargaining agreement.
