💼 Role Overview

The Supply Engine Operations & Analytics team is critical to enhancing operational excellence and driving commercial success across Expedia’s brands such as Expedia, Hotels.com, Vrbo, and more. As an Analyst, you will support the optimization of the Supply Engine, providing insights and recommending actions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales channels.

Your role will involve monitoring performance, analyzing data, and contributing to process improvements to ensure alignment with commercial goals.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize the Supply Engine’s operations to align with company procedures and best practices.
• Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Develop and execute SQL queries for data extraction and analysis, turning data into actionable insights.
• Assist in generating data-driven recommendations to improve business processes and performance.
• Identify areas for process improvement and assist with implementing efficiency enhancements.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of process documentation, ensuring smooth collaboration across teams.
• Work independently while being a collaborative team player in driving operational success.

📋 Qualifications

• 📚 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 📈 2+ years of experience in analytics or similar roles, with a focus on supporting data-driven processes.
• 🖥️ Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and structuring data.
• 📊 Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools to create and maintain reports.
• 🧰 Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• 🧠 Analytical mindset with keen business acumen and problem-solving skills.
• 👀 High attention to detail while understanding broader business goals.
• 🤝 Ability to work independently and contribute to team collaboration.
