🧠 The Opportunity

GoDaddy is on the lookout for a Senior Software Data Engineer to build and scale our next-generation Data Integration Platform. This high-impact role is key to connecting eCommerce systems with GoDaddy’s global Data Platform. You’ll be working on a microservices architecture deployed on AWS, integrating modern and legacy systems for a truly end-to-end data flow.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines.
• Design and maintain data models that enable business intelligence and operational analytics.
• Develop secure and efficient data integrations via REST APIs and other data ingestion strategies.
• Utilize AWS services and Microsoft SQL Server for data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, and product teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support and evolve legacy systems built on Microsoft technologies.

✅ Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in C# and Python programming.
• Deep experience with Microsoft SQL Server and AWS (relational & non-relational databases).
• Proven expertise in REST API development and integration.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS data services.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with big data tools, visualization platforms, and data reporting frameworks.
• Professional certifications in AWS or Microsoft ecosystems.
