Dynatrace is on the hunt for a Senior C++ Engineer to join our Developer Observability Agent team, driving the innovation of Live Debugging capabilities across modern tech stacks. You’ll be hands-on with performance-critical components, working under the hood of popular languages like C++, Java, .NET, Node.js, and more.

This role requires deep technical curiosity and strong problem-solving chops. If reverse-engineering frameworks, digging into runtimes, and optimizing performance at scale gets your adrenaline going—this is your arena.

🛠️ What You’ll Do

• Build and extend Live Debugging solutions powering our observability agents.
• Work with C++ and engage with multi-language stacks: Java, C#, Node.js, etc.
• Analyze frameworks and language internals through low-level debugging and reverse engineering.
• Gain expert knowledge of language runtimes, intermediate execution layers, and profiling APIs.
• Independently design, develop, and optimize features for high-performance agent components.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with international development teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
