🎯 Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Business & Data Platforms team, supporting FOX News operations. This is a high-impact role for a technical leader who can architect, build, and optimize scalable Salesforce solutions, contributing to business productivity and user satisfaction.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design applications, manage integrations, lead junior developers, and ensure the platform evolves to meet strategic goals.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components

• Implement Salesforce configurations: custom objects, fields, workflows, validations, and page layouts

• Integrate Salesforce with external platforms (e.g., Box, AWS S3) using REST/SOAP APIs

• Lead data migrations and ensure data quality using tools like Data Loader

• Troubleshoot and optimize system performance and user experience

• Manage deployments using Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for all technical solutions

• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring for junior developers

• Stay ahead of Salesforce trends and advocate for platform best practices

✅ What You Bring

• Salesforce Platform Developer I/II Certification strongly preferred

• Hands-on experience developing in Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and working within the Lightning platform

• Demonstrated success in leading complex Salesforce development projects

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Proficient with declarative automation tools (e.g., Flows, Process Builder)

• Strong grasp of Salesforce data architecture

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

• Experience mentoring peers and collaborating with cross-functional teams

💼 Preferred But Not Required

• Salesforce AI or Agentforce knowledge

• Media industry experience

• Advanced Salesforce certifications

• Experience with Service Cloud, WordPress, and frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery)

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or related field

💰 Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $121,500 – $174,000 annually (based on experience, education, location)

• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
