Role Overview

We are seeking an AWS Connect Engineer to join our team. This fully remote position focuses on the configuration, optimization, and management of AWS Connect services and related AWS infrastructure. The role demands expertise in Amazon Connect, serverless technologies, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC), with a strong emphasis on enhancing contact center solutions and ensuring optimal system performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Amazon Connect Services: Configure and manage AWS Connect, including setting up contact flows, routing, and AWS Connect configurations.
  • AWS Services Integration: Utilize core AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, IAM, and CloudWatch, to build and manage serverless solutions.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources.
  • Programming and Development: Develop and maintain serverless applications and Lambda functions using Node.js.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Leverage CloudWatch for performance monitoring, logging, and optimizing solutions.
  • Design Flows: Collaborate on the creation and generation of design flows for AWS Connect contact centers.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce Integration: Understanding of Salesforce for integrating AWS Connect with CRM systems.
  • Amazon Lex: Familiarity with Amazon Lex for voice and chatbot functionality integration.
  • CI/CD & Git: Awareness of Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
  • Python: Experience with Python for additional development and automation tasks.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
    • AWS Certified Developer – Associate
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional (or equivalent).

Compensation

  • Hourly Rate: $60 – $62 per hour
