π§βπΌ Position Overview
As a Senior Data Scientist in the Go-To-Market (GTM) Analytics team, you will partner with key stakeholders across product, marketing, and sales to forecast future business cycles and provide data-driven strategies. Your role will be instrumental in solving complex business problems by applying technical expertise in quantitative analysis and time-series forecasting.
π§ Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business problems and provide clarity on complex product and business challenges.
- Develop forecasts and strategies based on quantitative analysis and time-series forecasting.
- Use your technical skills to apply statistical models and machine learning techniques to optimize business operations and strategies.
- Measure and monitor product metrics to assess trends and guide decision-making.
- Become a trusted strategic partner by delivering clear and actionable insights to business leaders.
π Key Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent in a STEM field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science).
- 4+ years of experience in Data Science or a related field.
- Expertise in SQL and proficiency in another data manipulation language (e.g., Python, R, Scala).
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts (e.g., regression, clustering, probability).
- Experience building machine learning models, particularly in supervised learning techniques (e.g., Naive Bayes, SVM, Regression).
- Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly and effectively.
π‘ Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Jupyter Notebook or Databricks.
- Experience in sales data forecasting and pipeline modeling.
- Proficiency in time-series analysis tools like FB Prophet or LSTM.
- Understanding of SaaS business models and key metrics.
π° Compensation
Base Pay (per geographic zone):
- Zone A: $149,000 – $198,700
- Zone B: $134,100 – $178,800
- Zone C: $123,700 – $164,900
