🎯 Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Lead Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain databases while ensuring optimal performance and security. Your expertise in database management, query optimization, and system troubleshooting will play a key role in driving Brillio’s digital projects forward.

🔧 Responsibilities:

• Database Development & Maintenance: Design and maintain SQL Server databases and ensure performance, security, and availability.
• SQL Optimization: Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, functions, jobs, and stored procedures.
• Integration & Automation: Implement and manage SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to support business processes and improve decision-making.
• User Authentication: Work with Windows Active Directory for user authentication and authorization.
• Project Management: Utilize Jira for project management and issue tracking.
• System Monitoring: Monitor and troubleshoot system performance using DataDog.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation using Microsoft Office tools.

💻 Required Skills:

• Basic DBA Skills: Experience with SQL Server, including database performance management.
• T-SQL Proficiency: Strong knowledge of T-SQL for query writing and optimization.
• SSIS: Medium proficiency in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Data Analysis: Strong skills in analyzing data to support business processes.

🌟 Preferred Skills:

• MongoDB: Experience with MongoDB database management.
• .NET: Basic understanding of .NET for development.
• Windows Active Directory: Familiarity with user authentication and authorization.
• API Development: Knowledge of API development processes.
• Jira: Familiarity with project management using Jira.
• DataDog: Experience using DataDog for monitoring system performance.
• Microsoft Office: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools for documentation.
