🔍 About the Role
As a Cloud Automation Engineer within Brillio’s Digital Infrastructure (DI) team, you will design and implement fully automated onboarding solutions, specifically focusing on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) provisioning. This role will involve creating scalable automation scripts and leveraging .NET Core, Azure, and AWS Lambda to optimize cloud-based systems.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Automation Development: Build automation solutions using .NET Core, focusing on Azure functions and AWS Lambda for seamless VDI provisioning.
- API Integration: Create and consume RESTful APIs, handle OAuth 2.0 authentication, and manage JSON/XML data.
- Business Process Automation: Aggregate user entitlement data across various sources through API or database integration, and transform data for automation.
- Cloud Infrastructure Automation: Design, develop, and maintain Terraform configurations for scalable and reusable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- ServiceNow (SNOW) Integration: Develop automation and integration with ServiceNow using REST/SOAP APIs, JavaScript, and Glide API.
- VDI Provisioning: Leverage platforms like VMware Horizon or Azure Virtual Desktop for VDI provisioning, utilizing their APIs for automation.
🎯 Required Skills
- .NET Core for automation and batch scripting.
- Proficiency with RESTful API consumption and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
- Experience in data handling (JSON/XML) and automation using Azure functions and AWS Lambda.
- Expertise in Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow API and scripting (JavaScript/Glide API).
- Familiarity with VDI platforms like VMware Horizon or Azure Virtual Desktop and their provisioning processes.
