The Cloud Infrastructure Analyst will work as part of the Digital Technology Services (DTS) team, providing technical support for cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.) to enhance the university’s technology landscape. The role involves cloud infrastructure design, configuration, testing, and release management, contributing to various cloud projects and operational support.


πŸ”§ Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Support: Review and update ticket queues for cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring timely resolution as per service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaboration: Work closely with DTS teams and the university community to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and implement cloud-based solutions.
  • Cloud Transition: Assist with transitioning legacy systems to cloud infrastructure, specifically focusing on EntraID/Azure AD and its hybrid system connectivity.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure solutions.

🎯 Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Professional Experience: 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, with at least 2 years specifically in Azure architecture.
  • ITIL & ITSM Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices for IT service management. ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Cloud Architecture: Proven experience in cloud architecture design and migration of on-premise systems to the cloud.
  • Certifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, with certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert, or Microsoft MCSE.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey technical information to all organizational levels.
