🔧 What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable back-end systems focused on pricing intelligence and offer generation
• Solve complex software engineering problems with a whole-system approach, optimizing performance, resilience, and maintainability
• Own technical health of the codebase—quality, scalability, performance—and advocate for best practices and architectural rigor
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting knowledge-sharing and technical upskilling
• Partner with product, design, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical capabilities and business objectives
• Design integration frameworks and infrastructure that support robust and extensible service architecture
• Drive testing, monitoring, and observability strategies to ensure system reliability and operational excellence
• Participate in an on-call rotation, providing critical support and incident resolution as needed

✅ Who You Are

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• 8+ years of experience in software development with strong back-end expertise
• Deep knowledge of Java or Kotlin, cloud-native architecture, and distributed systems
• Proven track record in designing scalable, high-throughput, low-latency services
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience mentoring engineers and driving engineering excellence across teams
• Well-versed in modern development practices including CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure-as-code
• Strong understanding of cross-functional system dependencies, architecture design, and business impact of engineering choices
