Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic Software Engineer (Frontend) to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development lifecycle from inception to deployment, optimizing our systems for performance and scalability. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences and improve workflows. The ideal candidate will possess strong architectural skills, a passion for cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and an aptitude for automating processes for improved operational efficiency.

This role is primarily focused on frontend development (about 80% of the workload), with the remaining 20% dedicated to backend tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle: design, implementation, and deployment.
• Architect and provide guidance on building scalable systems optimized for speed.
• Work with React, Node.js, and Ruby to enhance the user re-payment experience and improve frontend visibility.
• Collaborate with designers, front-end engineers, and backend engineers to create reliable APIs.
• Engage in cross-functional communication across different time zones via Slack, GitHub, and video conferences.
• Automate manual processes to streamline workflows and ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with product management, quality assurance, customer support, and engineering teams to deliver features that meet customer needs.
• Research and prototype new technologies to improve development pipelines and build processes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4-7 years of experience building React-based frontend applications and web apps.

Technical Skills:

• Strong focus on design, code quality, and user experience.
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, TypeScript, and designing/integrating RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of Ruby is a plus.
• Experience with frontend technologies like NextJS.
• Comfortable across all product lifecycle stages: analysis, design, coding, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong debugging, optimization, and unit/integration testing experience.

Compensation:

• Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 per year.
